Playing it upside down must be difficult

I also dropped my Steam Deck yesterday after mistakenly thinking the case was zipped up...

Fortunately it landed on the back. Unfortunately it landed on concrete. Damage was the case split open (snapped back together) and some deep scratches on and around the triggers. All in all it was fine.

That stinks all the same.

My god get a case for that thing, screen protector too (they have matte screen protectors for anti-glare I have one and it's awesome, better than the 512 any day). I was holding off on it because I wanted to get the Killswitch but it expensive ๐Ÿ˜– but I'm definitely doing it now.

I have a case for it. It fell out of the case.

I meant the kind that goes around the body even when in use, not just a carrying case, they're different kinds of cases.

Pretty good ๐Ÿ˜‚ I got it shipped from my parents. Owning both LCD and OLED versions. Definitely enjoying the OLED one.

Eh, I bought one in Brazil. Don't regret it one bit, and the experience in Australia is certainly easier.

This story was originally posted some time ago. I know because I read it when I was shopping for my SD in Australia. The points about warranty really got to me, so I went for a Legion Go and loaded Bazzite. Local purchase, with local warranty and repairs (touch wood I never need them), interface looks and feels like SD. So far I love it.
