It's really sad to see how Russia is no longer able to do this things on its own. The transition to capitalism in post USSR states blows away all the tropes about capitalism in my opinion. Pretty much none of the promises came true, life got a whole lot worse for majority of people, mass deindustrialization happened, and a lot of technical skills were lost.
