I doubt they have the know how to clear that server, just saying.

[-] PM_ME_UR_PCAPS@lemmy.ml 24 points 1 year ago

They’ve helpfully labeled which ones they factory reset. I wonder what’s on those non-reset machines 🤔

100% sure it's the proof of the 2020 election fraud

Can't believe MyPillow is defending Biden like this

HUNTER BIDEN'S ~~LAPTOP~~ 42U SERVER RACK!

[-] terribleplan@lemmy.nrd.li 8 points 1 year ago

The servers aren't even identified in the listing as R610s (or E01S, they misread that as "EOLS"), so who knows...

[-] reddig33@lemmy.world 34 points 1 year ago

I sure hope some enterprising news outlet is smart enough to bid on these.

Mostly a lot of monitors and tablets, be interesting to get some cheap gear but wouldn't want to give the guy a dime.

[-] steal_your_face@lemmy.ml 16 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

True but there’s some server racks and servers as well. I hate the guy but paying pennies on the dollar for some server gear might be worth it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[-] WagnasT@iusearchlinux.fyi 15 points 1 year ago

Best sleep I've ever had after buying my pillow servers. I use arch btw.

[-] st3ph3n@kbin.social 13 points 1 year ago

So, have they actually gone out of business?

[-] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

That server rack for $12 has me really fucking tempted

[-] SirShanova@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Is there an equivilant of this site for the North East/New York Area?

[-] SirNuke@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

If you live by a major university, they likely have property disposition where you can pick up slightly older equipment, sometimes for super cheap.

[-] dynamojoe@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

A lot of them now just work through third-party houses like govdeals.com.

[-] Sturgist@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 year ago

Is there a UK equivalent?

[-] HurlingDurling@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

[-] krolden@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago
