This is according to an Nvidia AIB partner who spoke to YouTuber Der8auer. They say, "No, Nvidia did not inform us that RTX 5090 is EOL. But currently we cannot purchase GB202 [the GPU] together with 32 GB GDDR7 as [a] complete set, and we also don't know if ordering will be possible again in the future."

Production hasn't stopped, it has merely been paused forever.

So the same shit they did earlier, basically.

And back then, it was also pretty much a discontinuation, wrapped in a lie. Though I forgor what product it was then.

5070ti and larger were "eol" but in reality their production was cut down soo much that their MSRP skyrocketed compared to the 5070, which would only skyrocket later as supply dried up.

Not sure what the fuss is with this story. Nvidia is no longer in the business of producing gaming gpus and hasn't been since they hid away the division's revenues. Do these people want to hear a confession, or what? They won't get one because nvidia still needs to pretend to shareholders that not all their eggs are in one basket.

Ironically, my 4090's chuggin' along fine, while the RAM, HDD, and CPU bought @ the same time are showing their age. 😅
