These guys have always been spot on.

[–] Hiro8811@lemmy.world 23 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Is the retard planning on using nuclear? I mean of course he does but that's freaking scary

[–] Randelung@lemmy.world 16 points 2 weeks ago

Well, his drunk war chief with the oppression themed tattoos certainly isn't a voice of reason in any room.

[–] scathliath@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

If he is, from what I understand, he should have stayed at David, as it at least used to be the Presidential nuclear shelter. Don't know if that's still true.

[–] Hiro8811@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago (3 children)

Isn't the presidential bunk shelter moved under the ballroom now?

[–] fake@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 weeks ago

They haven't finished grifting the construction costs on that yet.

[–] scathliath@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 2 weeks ago

That's where I've heard them talk about it being placed; sure, but nuclear-hardened bunkers are not typically built quickly if they want to stay nuke-proof. There's also a few other backup plans that used to be publicly available.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presidential_Emergency_Facility Yeah, here's the wiki; also TIL they call Camp David "cactus" here.

No need, its unlikely anyone would strike the US on Iran's behalf. Even if Iran has made nuclear weapons there's no evidence of them ever working on ICBMs.

If the US nukes Iran we can expect their entire arsenal, including any nukes they might posses, to be launched at Israel.

[–] HerbGrower@slrpnk.net 1 points 1 week ago

Nuke Iran in exchange for nuke Israel seems like a fair trade. Good luck keeping it contained though.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Nah I'm sure they've finished the bunker under the Epstein ballroom so he's ready to move in

Well you see. They have to escalate, and do it fast or admit they have lost. And these fucks Will never admit they lost. Even though america has lost almost every conflict since ww2. And they lost this one when they dropped the first bomb.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 12 points 2 weeks ago

they had to draw from thier carrier that was patrolling south east asia to relieve the "poopiefied uss lincoln"

What's the relation with gay bar and domino's? I know about the pizza meter of pentagon but enlighten me about the gay bar meter🫠

[–] Karjalan@lemmy.world 53 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I assume it means the pentagayn employees are hauled into the office for an urgent meeting.

I.E. Less at the gay bar. More pizza deliveries

[–] davetortoise@reddthat.com 17 points 2 weeks ago (4 children)
[–] Hossenfeffer@feddit.uk 16 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

More fewer deliveries? American is a crazy language.

[–] MintyFresh@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

It's a perfectly cromulent sentence.

[–] nickiwest@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

Thank you, Stannis.

[–] noxypaws@pawb.social -3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

who fucking cares, everyone knows what was meant

[–] davetortoise@reddthat.com 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)
[–] noxypaws@pawb.social 9 points 2 weeks ago

since this is grammaticaly incorrect you get an upvote for playfulness

[–] Bahnd@lemmy.world 18 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Its part of the "Pentagon Pizza Index" Link (and yes I know they are sponsored by the "gamble on everything" companies these days)

Its an unusual OSINT tool where you monitor the nearest pizza places near important buildings. If a cartoonishly large amount of pizza is getting delivered to the pentagon, that indicates that teams are pulling all-nighters. This also applies to companies like Valve and Microsoft that have know large known central offices.

Monitoring the local bar scene has similar value, if the number of people there is different past historical data then its safe to assume something is going on.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago

Well specifically the gay bar because of the large amount of right wingers installed recently and the relationship to large Republican presence and an uptick in grindr and gay related clubs and bars.

[–] thanksforallthefish@literature.cafe 15 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Not the OP but I would assume this a reference to the fact that Grindr spikes when GOP gathers, ie GOP conference etc ergo the pleb politicians are not involved/havent been gathered to DC.

I'm not sure what value it adds though, I can't imagine Cheetolini seeking approval or briefing them before nuking Iran

[–] GregorGizeh@lemmy.zip 12 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Actually thats just folklore. Recently someone posted the actual stats, there is no discernible spike in app use. No server crashing under the load of all those closeted gays. Sorry to break that bubble

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

And there's no evidence Vance fucked a couch, but I'm still choosing to believe it

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

As a homosexual, please stop lumping toxic conservatives with us. We don't want them. "Hahaha that's gay" is a joke that needs to stay in the 90s.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

As a member of the LGBTQ community myself, I think it's pretty funny.

And it's certainly not a "Hahaha that's gay" joke. That's missing the point

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

That's fine. But not everyone is okay with it. I can't stop people from making jokes, but I feel what I feel. I don't like the association that asshole conservatives can be ridiculed by saying they are closeted gays. I was in the closet for a long time and I hate that it's a joke now. Coming out was a big deal for me and joking about conservatives being in that position makes light of my struggles.

Again, laugh at what you want. I just don't have to like it.

[–] GregorGizeh@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I fully agree with you, just as a prelude, and your feelings in that matter are of course valid. I just want to add that the reason people make fun of them for being gay is not that they are supposedly gay, but the fact that they are all wildly hypocritical, sanctimonious assholes who do decidedly never practice what they preach.

[–] Floodedwomb@lemmy.world 0 points 2 weeks ago (4 children)

It's also low-key homophobic.

[–] Skankboot@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

It's about the hypocrisy, not haha you're gay. If it's real it should be pointed out. The left is eating itself with this take

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah. While I'm not going to deny the existence of log cabin Republicans, they're usually people who ain't figured out tokens get spent.

It kind of is

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

As a gay man, I hate when people make "conservatives are gay and closeted" jokes. My sexuality is not a prop for your rhetoric.

[–] Floodedwomb@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Bunch of straight people don't seem to like us speaking our truth.

[–] Strawberry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 weeks ago

the fact that Grindr spikes when GOP gathers

this is misinfo

[–] bold_atlas@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Pizza thing is real. The gay bar is an very outdated joke.

Gay bars are filled with nice sociable people that are 21 and older. But anyone who's getting called in for a middle east situation are all creepy killers and nasty socially inept child rapists. It would make more sense to monitor the amount of open webcam viewership around elementary schools.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Ordering food and not cruising for dick = working longer hours

[–] bagsy@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

escalation happens after the market closes on Friday, not right before it opens on Monday.
