I think this sentence is actually quite old.

I think this community is meant to highlight new sentences never before uttered in the English language; if a 19th Century author is writing it, that's not quite nouveau.

That said, I won't poo poo on your https://xkcd.com/1053 moment to enjoy the works of the esteemed American author and his glorious writing style.

I made the community so I can stretch the definition.

edit: Downvote me all you like I still enjoy finding content for y'all even though it's hard sometimes.

If you read Sherlock Holmes, Watson does this a lot too.

There's use of it in Harry Potter. May JKR suffocate on her own hatred.

Yea, Slughorn ejaculates Snape, if i recall correctly.

.... and that is also a strange sentence to think about...

JKR should choke on girldick

are they ejaculating because the salt is turning them on or are they ejaculating salt?

[–] floquant@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

In this context it means "blurted out, exclaimed"

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 2 days ago

lol i know, but if there wasnt a double entendre, this post would have never been made. So my question remains

[–] ThunderComplex@lemmy.today 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

The former. Think about it, if you nutted salt, you’d phrase it differently like „it’s salt?“ or something to that extend.
But phrased like this clearly means salt is turning them on

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

i thought maybe it could been likw "The salt! [It burns]!"

kidney stones hurt (a lot), this is maybe similar enough?

There was an old book I was listening to at work, in a crowded room (everyone wearing headphones) and snorted quite loudly as the line "He ejaculated about the room."
