FF8 was one of the best final fantasy games and nobody will ever change my mind. It's so good
I feel the same, but also the plot towards the end really is wack. Loved the style and how much extra end game stuff there was to find, though. I think my favorite thing I didn’t pick up when I first played it as a kid was how the tv screens were all taken over by signal from the witch they rocketed into space. I outta dig up an enhance pic
The magic system was the most clunky, grindy garbage I had ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Oh there's a new spell? Get ready to soak that from mobs for 30 minutes.
7, 8, and 10 were all peak and the series never was and never will be better than those
