The vendor-lockin is so stupid.
AMD released FSR upscaling, and it works on any hardware, of ANY generation, but DLSS?
No, you need "CUDA tensor cores". They're super special™.
The newly released FSR (4 I think?) is rx 9000 exclusive as well, because it needs their brand new core technology.
FSR4 also has a branch for older cards, leaked a billion years ago, officially released not too long ago
A whole single generation older. Not that I'm complaining, bc I absolutely don't want that slop tech.
Half the performance and none of the frame gen to even try to compensate.
You don't appreciate a 50-60% performance drop?
