Lead the Russian Empire through an era of political turmoil, national aspirations and revolutionary change! From appointing the Tsar's favorites to exiling unwanted dissidents to the frozen reaches of Siberia, confront the forces that threaten to tear the Russian Empire apart! Lead the People. Or Rule Above Them.

In this new Immersion Pack, navigate the ambitions and legacies of Russia’s rulers, face growing calls for independence and the spectre of civil war as you shape the future that rises from the ashes. Will you preserve the old order, forge a communist state, or impose your own vision upon a post-revolutionary Russia? State and Revolution and free Update 1.15 release October 22nd.

victoria has been pretty broken lately, but if this dlc has cool communist events i think it could be really fun

the ship updates were a bunch of nonsense, as well as supporting independence malus is annoying for blobbing :( i don't want to go to war with britain and france as ethiopia, but if i don't i get constant turmoil if i try to interfere at all. and they haven't fixed (?) electricity smdh.

Whole game is a fucking mess lol. And yeah the ships shit just made me never want to do wars anymore

economic (and even some diplomacy) stuff is fine, but wars were bad and got somehow even worse, before the last update, i spent 20 years of late game time partitioning britain (or france or usa or russia) as a revenge for all the shit they are pulling, but now even that became annoying.

yeah pretty much every aspect of the game is annoying to me. I've modded the game so much i dont even remember what the base game is anymore. EU5 is somehow even worse

I was considering buying the base game because it's on sale... Is it still a good buy? I haven't had any experience with paradox games buy I do have my moments where I'm obsessed with Rome and Medieval total war.

it's very different, war is afterthought and badly done, you are in a building class society simulator (and you can pirate to try it out)

Oh yea I'm aware it's way more spreadsheet-y than that, which honestly interests me more.

True, it's just that currently the only pc I have access to is a Mac and pirating for those is a pain.

It’s still very janky and the fun parts are locked behind dlc

Anyone got recommendations for lets players playing Victoria and other paradox games. I like the concept but never managed to get into any of the games and it's difficult to find anyone playing those games who isn't a chud.
