- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

I go online as an escape from reality. So why the fuck would I hangout in a space where Iβm surrounded by terrible views regarding women, race, gender, etc? Weβre all in echo chambers. I donβt come here to debate some asshole that thinks climate change is a hoax and ICE is good.

Can Lemmy block keywords yet?
I'm pretty sure it can. At least on jerboa app
How? Opening Jerboa now, I see I can block things like users, communities, and instances, but I don't see a way to block a keyword.
Yep looks like I was wrong. Could've sworn it had that capability. Maybe I was thinking of Apollo or something?
You can do it on boost
A bunch of third-party apps have that feature, just not base Lemmy itself. Copying an old post of mine (which may be a bit outdated at this point):
Lemmy itself allows you to block communities, instances, and users. But it does not support filtering by keyword, e.g. filtering out any post with the word "platypus" in the title regardless of where it was posted or by whom. With help from the comments below, here are some third party Lemmy clients that have their own implementation of keyword filtering:

Though I'm not sure that people are generally comfortable wearing VR headsets, as they exist in 2026, for many hours.

I could spend all day in current offerings. It was taking it off that made me feel ill* more than being in it.
(*Aside from the time some fat Asp barreling into the slot as I was exiting slammed into me and sent me spinning outta control hella fast in Elite.)
Oh, no, I was thinking having them on. Like, sweat building up, stuff like that, weight.
Weight's not too bad if you have a counterweight so it's not all in the front. There's also at least 1 out there (BigPicture, IIRC) that has a headset that's super small almost like a pair of glasses, but not quite that small. It's smaller than the Frame is.
Sweat is a mixed bag and there's a downside to both foam (absorbs sweat, gets nasty, some models also are itchy af) and silicone (becomes slippery, doesn't breath so you sweat more).
Really the biggest thing keeping it trom becoming a bigger scene is probably the lack of good software. Alyx is still the best thing you can play exclusive to VR. Most other shit is basically mobile shovelware and artsy "experiences"/tech demos.

I'm not about to dissect a 300 page refuting of traditional dogma or whatever here. Probably never gonna bother anyway, but certainly not in a thread in comicstrips
