Oddly, it uses almost exactly the same font for the title.
There's a different one? This one (the new one) is quite good.
The 2015 one scratched that Firefly shaped scar in my soul and also got cancelled too early.
There's only one Dark Matter.

That's the one.
I tried to read the book and while I like the way the multiverse functions or how navigating it works but the main character moping for months cause me to DNF.
I finished it, hoping to see any trace of “dark matter” in the story but it was so cringe that the book never once used it. What a stupid thing to do - just to co-opt a popular phrase.
It’s the reason why no matter how good the show gets, I’ll never watch it.
Should have named it "Darkest matters" or something. I don't know what it's about.
Similarly, I hate common word company names like "Meta" that broke search for those words.
How about "Grim dark matters"?
Meta was the dumbest rename. I still call it Facebook.
To be fair, the other 'Dark Matter'(2015) tv show never actually brought up dark matter either.
But more critically, I don’t give a shit about the show. It’s the book I’m upset with. I finished that fucker. Gave it 2 stars. First book I’ve finished in a long time that I didn’t give 5 stars to.
Who was in that? I’m trying to remember if I’ve heard of it.
