You probably shouldn’t water your plants with cat. Or maybe you should, idk. Might propagate kittens.

Catolytes, it's what plants crave

[–] jxk@sh.itjust.works 1 points 11 hours ago

Of course, it contains cations

[–] kamen@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

They probably shouldn't cat their plants.

we had a cat [her name was Thompkins. She looked like a Thompkins] distribute herself at me on a bikeride the other evening. i love cat volunteers but both the wife and the landlady said NO MORE CATS. Thompkins and I disagreed, but we were temporarily overruled :Ɛ

That cactus on the right just adds to the confusing picture - my brain wanted to see a tail.

[–] starik@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

So confusing. There is cat that doesn’t look like cat, and not cat that looks like cat.

I have one of those. Had no idea they could get that tall.

Edit: the cactus, not the tail ha ha

Especially because I think it's got a coating of cat hair caught in its prickles

At least it looks like if, but some cactuses have "fur" themselves.

I saw the thumbnail and was like that's the biggest onion I ever did see

What a fitting name for a being that's able to change its shape like this.

[–] bitteroldcoot@piefed.social 12 points 2 days ago

It took a couple of second for me to figure out that is not a puddle of slime secreted by the plant.

Fluff water

That's some foamy coffee!

The laws of physics are mere suggestions to cats

What an odd type of soil

[–] Stolas@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 day ago

Loki looks so comfortable. Happy for them.

Cats are a newtonian fluid with a melting point somewhere around 75F. If I cool the house to 74 or below, Izzy loafs or curls up in a ball. If I let it get warmer than that in the house she stretches out. They remain viscous and cohesive with a high surface tension.

Note this testing is done at around 29.8 inches of mercury ambient pressure.

Dreaming about . . . Tahiti

Watering the plants, nice. I wish mine would help out around the house, but he's a grade A slob.
