FINALLY

I would place this one in place 5 out of the 5 games in the MGS series, but considering it's one of the best game series of all time it's still one of my all time classics. Be prepared for more cutscene than game which require a PhD in Metal Gear lore to comprehend, but the gameplay can be very satisfying. It's a great finale to the original timeline. 9/10.

This is my first into to metal gear and my first PS3 game. So it is pretty nostalgic to me. I like how the melancholy atmosphere of the game and the cut scenes make it feel like I am watching a movie.

MGSV shouldn't even qualify as a MGS game.

As someone who grew up with the series, MGSV was my favorite one. I like constant gutpunches in war stories, and the gameplay was a nice ramp up from guerilla to god. It definitely took the opposite approach to ending a storyline than 4 did. Very different from the other games but I like the big swing they took which hit for me.

This game should be considered part of gaming canon. It's crazy that nobody could play it until now.

MGS4 was the most important war game ever made. No game before or since has tackled the subject of the war economy quite like it.

It does have some insightful things to say, such as how the Paradise Lost army feels it's "cool to fight like this."

You can go back to school at any time. Steam sales are temporary.

Psyched! I'll hold off to see how it plays with Proton to buy it, but my PS3 is long dead so I'd love to play this again.

RPCS3 developments particularly on this game will likely be deprioritized now.
