X Corp has absolutely zero authority to force anything. Only courts can and as we've seen in USA they're pretty meaningless too.

The longer you obey the more power you give them. Power they haven't earned.

Ignore X Corp lawyers. They're all overpaid losers who could never cut it. Most of them can't read above a sixth grade level. Sue me if I'm wrong.

Every time I bang an X Corp lawyer's wife she gives me a cookie.

Why do you think Ozempic prices are through the roof?!?

That's really easy to say when you aren't facing legal action.

I hope their AI-obsessed boss compels them to use Grok, bogging them down in fabricated case law. Either they’ll have to trudge through the garbage and verify what they can, or they’ll get caught making shit up and get reamed out by a judge.

Same. I hated Twitter, though. You win some, you lose some.

"I'm the richest asshole on earth and my feelings get hurt easily, so I use my money to file frivolous lawsuits."

  • Some asshole.

We all wish it was just "some asshole" and not one of the top 10 whiniest bitch assholes in the whole fucking world

Twitter trying to stop abusive viewing posts without logging in.

I hate that everything demands you login and prevents you from viewing anything unless you do.

Just don't look.

BlueSky and Mastodon work fine.

I use these services as a newsfeed. I already have accounts and RSS feeds set up everywhere. It's just a matter of waiting for the people I follow to fully make the switch.

😅 I just hate checking individual pages with their own algorithms. Give me one Inbox in Thunderbird with everyone's messages.

XCancel? How they cancel something nobody has heard of?

I think got to my 6th superflous X before I noped out of that article.

HOpefully nitter learns from this and doesn't try to copy the branding of the worlds uncoolest person.

[–] trebach@sh.itjust.works 18 points 1 week ago

Nitter predated the rebranding so there wasn't anything to copy.
