In america even the TV wears shoes indoors

I hate it when my woke ass clanker of a TV beams straight gay into my brain lid and offers me oppositely-gendered clothing while pinning my guardians to the wall while it's extra-long super-extendo-retracto arms!

Only the CRT TVs do that. Modern flatscreens beam gay straight into your brain lid.

Ever watched the 1976 film The Network? It's essentially about this but now with the internet, social networks, the algorithm, echo chambers, content pipelines, and AI it's in hyperdrive. There's no shared consensus now, there's little corners of the internet that will convince you that you're on the right path and anyone else is either a moron or purely evil through and through.
