I know mothers who got threatened to be fired for taking parental leave. Childcare is expensive and exhausting, wake till sleep you have work or to take care of the child, zero breaks, we get sickness riddled from overpopulated kindergardens, we see childfree colleagues overtaking us in carreer, we pay one persons wage in rent. Parents these days are handled like they are the trash bottom of society.

For comparison, WHO says kindergarden from 3 yo because they need the mother b4 that. Parental leave pay is up to 1 yr. After that you put the child in strangers hands for 10+ hours?! You see your child less than the caretakers. If we were animals in a zoo, we'd say this is not "Artgerecht" and make laws against this.

Why oh why do people only decide to not get children.

How come with both partners now working fulltime, with all these technical advancements we still have declining living conditions?

That's not driving the right-wing "backlash". The Epstein class needs people to focus on the unimportant stuff while they rob us blind. The Epstein class is driving the culture war. They are financing and funding it, because if people managed to stop looking down or hating their equals, they'd look up and start asking questions to identify the people at the top who are to blame for their misery.

We should take away the wealth of the uber-wealthy as that will reduce the power considerably. Fighting the followers and their misguided beliefs doesn't do much more than deepen the trenches. We should find the things that we have in common: our shitty situation due to the small group of powerful people. Tax their wealth, diminish their power.

It's not just that. Back in the good old days a man could simply grab any unclaimed woman by the hair and drag her back to his cave. The women couldn't call others for support, and definitely didn't get to ask who a man supported as lead-Ug.

It was a simpler time when people were happier, because women didn't count as people.
