Is there a grain of truth to the incense thing? Because I’ve been burning some and it does chill me right out haha

"Perhaps Marx wasn’t too wrong when he called religion the opium of the people" Lmao, very good

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 1 week ago

Yeah, psychoactive substances do be like that sometimes 😁

Maybe you're a vampire! Can't go jna church, sensitive to holy mists. What's your relationship like with Garlic?

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Straight to hell, unbeliever!

[–] Lumidaub@feddit.org 2 points 1 week ago

Means you are sensitive to fragrances.

[–] Lumidaub@feddit.org 1 points 1 week ago

Not usually though. It's just frankincense specifically. I can barely smell any incense sticks, forget about scented candles.

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

And obviously in league with the devil.

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)
