I do the same in resumes if you're not going to read my resume I'm going to waste your time as much as I can.

“By hiding a command inside a document that the system later ingests, the filer attempts to smuggle their own instruction into that stream so that the system treats it as though it had come from the system’s operator,” Spader said. “In this case that operator is presumed to be the court, its staff, or opposing counsel.”

But if this court doesn't use AI to review the filings as the judge insists, then this is harmless as a human reviewer can simply ignore the tiny hidden text.

I understand the judge wants to feel respected, but this should be a non-issue and should not warrant sanctions

It's a wilful attempt at defrauding the court, even if it were to fail, though. If I try to bribe the judge, but he doesn't take it, should that be fine?

I don't think we should be using LLMs for legal proceedings, but this stands kind of separate from that.

If the court is using lie machines to review their filings, then any attempt to fight that is merely self defense. Legal or not

So you think attempted murder should be ok too, since no one actually got hurt?

Thanks, bud. 8am and I already saw the dumbest shit I'll see all day.

yeah this is one of those things that is hard to argue technically but is obvious common sense wise. I mean its not the hardest. murder is one of the highest crimes were as a fair and impartial process from peers is a right.

If the govt claims that nobody is hiding behind the curtain, then the govt cannot claim that shooting the curtain is attempted murder.

If the person believed that there was someone behind it, and fired a gun at it with intent to kill, it's attempted murder.
