Im from nc so i feel your pain
I am often shocked when I see the state of American political adverts. They are beyond parody. It's practically TV for babies.
Like it deadass feels like the world’s been caught up by chudchudmelon.
Yeah yeah, elites masses and rebels and all, but still.
I was having a pleasant conversation with my father and he smoothly pivoted into an Islamophobic tirade about Muslims ruining America and bringing crime and poverty.
For context we live 5,100 km in a straight line away from the United States, in a country with a Muslim majority. This was triggered by me talking about planning a trip to a European country next year (expensive but it’ll be good for me, I don’t travel much besides going around the Middle East for work)
Twitter is completely melting older people’s brains and taking small cracks in their otherwise functional worldviews and filling them with dynamite. I swear people weren’t always this proud of being shitty

There are many red states and just as many terrible candidates
Like that one lady from Kentucky(?) who promised to hunt down Communists and to stop the red Chinese
She showcased this by crushing fortune cookies
I saw that racist from kentucky lol. Admittedly tallerico is acceptable but texas is known for Cruz, Abbot, and the like so I feel my complaints are reasonable.
