It was, but they were far from allies. They muscled on their patrons as often as the cops did to drag more cash out of them, because they knew they had a blackmailable secret and they couldn't go to the cops.

Mafias are basically proto governments. They have all the functions of government but they’re less formalized and they struggle to achieve a monopoly on organized violence.

Why would someone downvote you for your comment? Maybe a straight woman is also a drag queen? Maybe a straight guy is a drag queen? WTF?
There was a straight guy on drag race and a bio Queen on Canada's Drag Race, so not necessarily anything in particular, but the art in it's current form is most definitely an LGBT creation.
Are there pictures of said Drag Queen? I need to see this!
I read "Mafia drops ban" in the sense of "new ban just dropped", as if the opposite happened
