People in Calcton need to stop making excuses for Nigel Farage’s 5m Thai crypto gift and elect Count Binface!

[–] Mycatiskai@lemmy.ca 5 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Is there any actual polling of the area to see if Binface could win?

I saw some polling that Brits would want Binface over fuckface and but I dont think that polled only those in Clacton just Brits at large.

Honestly, who knows.

It's going to be a super depressed turn out, and many of the people that would vote for Farage in a general election won't realize there's a by election on.

Then, with no major parties standing, all the anti Farage vote should unify behind count binface.

The main advantages Farage has, he's more popular in Clacton than the whole of the UK, and a lot of local voters don't know or don't care about the five million pound "gift".

lemmings regularly make jokes about slaughtering the enemies of the commie cult

of course it's just a joke and not the a few rungs down the radicalization pipeline

the murderous commie cult hiding in plain sight

I mean...I'm not even really close to being a commie and I can get on board with this. The ultra rich are structural failures of society.

And also every day we allow multi-millionaires to exist is another real day with real suffering and real deaths that are unnecessary and preventable.

People will bemoan the killing of a health insurance CEO but shake their fists and forgive the systemic pain those people cause because it's less tangible. The human brain wasn't built to comprehend large systems and the reality is a hundred dead billionaires would save millions of lives - and they could choose to do it themselves and save their lives if they wanted to. At literally any point. That's the central difference between what I'd consider the radical right and the radical left - the "right" want blood for blood's sake and they want it inflicted on people based on immutable characteristics. The "left" want only the pain necessary to prevent the mass suffering of the world, and only to those people who abuse their power and privilege and who choose to not do the right thing.

In fairness, it’s a fucking good t-shirt.

[–] matelt@feddit.uk 3 points 14 hours ago

And a good song!

[–] blimthepixie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 12 hours ago

So it's a picture of a guillotine with a song title above it?

Nigel Benn?

Nigel Mansell?

Nigel Planer?

Nigel Mandela?

He didn’t wear the shirt. What’s the fucking problem?

[–] Seimhe@lemmy.world 3 points 20 hours ago

He’s such a legend. Showing us how critical thinking, clear communication and joy are part of the antidote to fascism. Love him.
