Good for accessibility, but this does not belong in a main/default keyboard app IMO. Maybe an extension or an another app. Keyboard with access to camera and image recognition? Malicious vibes aside, that is huge feature creep.

I hope it's not limited to ASL, which is only a subset of the sign languages available.

They have to start from somewhere though. They're an American company, so it makes sense they start with ASL.

Back when they haven't masked off, they still had some other branches around the world bringing features just for that corner of the world. Although I admit that that memory is possibly faulty, as I can't bring up any examples. Maybe translation?

When would be the time to use sign language instead of typing? With voice recognition you can use it while doing something else with your hands, but what could you be doing that allows signing but not holding your phone? It seems like a good feature I'm just having trouble imagining when specifically you would use it

Maybe you need to search for a recipe while your hands are caked in flour and voice recognition never worked for you because your voice doesn't match the able bodied trained models?
