That's possible, I don't know literally anyone from India on Bluesky; In fact there's more people I personally know who are on Mastodon as it's prevalent in the FOSS ecosystem. But Mastodon doesn't bring in general people easily so literally the only people I follow there are related to the FOSS ecosystem (and similar nerds)...
I actually don't like the format too much myself but ever since they raised the character limit it's a bit better to follow

Your instance literally determines your echo chamber lol. And if you run your own then you determine whom you want to federate with. Unless you regularly flip between instances you're very certainly in one.
