I think it's Farsi for "The Trump, The!"

[–] BodilessGaze@sh.itjust.works 20 points 1 week ago

Nobody who speaks Farsi could be an evil person

If I could vote again I would

Political messaging analyst here. It says they're going to save the US.

[–] FoxtrotDeltaTango@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

From Trump and the far right extremists right?

[–] Murse@slrpnk.net 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I mean, is there some other major threat to the US at this time?

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Yes, robot bees.

Nobody really knows about this, but the robot bees are way worse than maga.

Iran seems to be friendly to the US right now. IDK, seems hard to understand for me too.

They should aim for baby face what's his name, trump is a lost cause health wise

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They probably don’t see him as a threat. That guy is less popular than the couches he fucks

[–] Rivalarrival@lemmy.today 4 points 1 week ago (2 children)

He could gain quite a bit of popularity if he were to invoke the 25th. McConnell would likely support that coup.

[–] wasabi_noir@lemmy.zip 3 points 1 week ago

McConnell is fucking dead already

[–] FartMaster69@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I doubt it, the people who hate Trump wouldn’t suddenly like him and the people who like Trump would hate his guts for it.

Democrats can't seem to stop stepping on their own dicks, and no other Republican can consolidate power. Vance has the means, motive, and opportunity to terminate the Trump regime anytime after January 21st.

To quote a man... "We have to take out their families."

Wait, I need to buy stock in Champagne first

[–] brianary@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 week ago

Could be a literal false flag by someone trying to keep the war going.

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

Yeah but giant banners seem like they'd be pretty expensive

[–] mechoman444@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

I am a political analyst.

After an exhaustive semiotic review, our team has concluded that the message is, in fact, somewhat ambiguous. The use of the phrase "WE WILL KILL TRUMP" appears to suggest one of several possibilities:

They are threatening to kill Trump.

They are announcing a community theater production titled We Will Kill Trump.

"Kill" is actually a metaphor for outperforming him in pickleball.

It's a bold new tourism campaign whose deeper meaning has been lost in translation.

At this time, additional research is required. We have assembled a multidisciplinary panel consisting of linguists, historians, political scientists, body-language experts, three Reddit moderators, and one guy with a YouTube channel.

Preliminary findings indicate there is a 47% chance they mean exactly what the giant banner says, but we cannot rule out that it is instead a nuanced commentary on agricultural subsidies.

More funding is needed.
