The call out to TMZ was depressing. I have no idea how we are supposed to dig out of this whole. Electing capable people is like step 1 of 100.
The election of Donald Trump (the FIRST time, ugh) exposed all the media failures we needed to know about and shit has only got worse
This would never have happened if Biden didn't rig the election. He made it so Trump won and all this pain and exposure is the result. Damn dirty dems.
From what little i know, this all started already in the 70s, where the president basically sold the population.

The establishment democrats tried to rig the election. It wasn't sloppy voter fraud. They tried to pick their candidate with Harris (after already forcing us to vote for Biden the first time). It was clear in 2020 that the most popular candidate was Bernie. They just made sure to have 20 other primary candidates with different enough edge issues that it kept the vote split.
As soon as I heard Biden's name back then I knew we were fucked. I remember outload saying "please no" on the bus. It's a core memory for me. Biden was going ro ride Obama's coat tails into office over the socialist that we needed.
That's when I knew the democrats were just good cop. Biden proved it when he sided with the railroad companies during the workers strike.
And he proved it again when he dropped out after the 2024 primaries and endorsed Kamila.
It was bullshit then and its still bullshit now and we all remember it.
The railroad workers' strike really gave the game away as to whom the Democrats actually represent: Biden made some reasonable points about how a transportation shutdown would affect the economy and national security, which would've provided ample justification to nationalize the rails and use access to them as leverage. (With the side benefit of fixing most of Amtrak's problems.) But there was no talk of the railroad companies feeling any of the pain. Protecting the economy was a burden that the workers had to shoulder alone.

I have to wonder, when it's Donald's time to ghost America, will the GOP ghost him like they've done to Mitch, or will they continue to fawn over his bloated corpse? Do they drag this failing administration out past the breaking point, or do they immediately try to snatch the scepter?
