Does ICE get overtime pay for this cosplay?

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 4 points 17 hours ago

Never an IED when you need one, eh?

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 7 points 19 hours ago

Sad that the good citizens of DC didn't give them the welcome they so richly deserve.

[–] pennomi@lemmy.world 3 points 17 hours ago

It’s so obvious that ICE uniforms are designed to copy fascist activist groups like Patriot Front.

Same people that refused to mask for COVID

[–] spicehoarder@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You can identify them by their unique beer guts.

101st Chairborn

[–] CubitOom@infosec.pub 107 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (5 children)

They are continuing the American tradition of white supremacist organizations invading cites they don't live in to intimidate people they hate.

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 18 points 1 day ago

Lots of white supremacist live in EVERY city. But you're correct otherwise.

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

At least they had the balls (though small ones) to show their faces

I always find it funny when racists are so proud to be racist that they hide their face when showing the world how racist they are.

Because they're such chickenshit micro dick snowflakes

[–] Faithless@lemmy.world 3 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

When are Americans going to respond ?

[–] BouteilleBrune@lemmy.world 2 points 18 hours ago

Maybe after they're done walking the streets with confederate flags?

[–] shweddy@lemmy.world 69 points 1 day ago (2 children)

If they truly believed in their message they wouldn't hide their faces. Cowards

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 32 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (3 children)

I get the sentiment but there are plenty of valid reasons to hide one's face. I believe strongly in protecting immigrants and resisting ICE. I hide my face to protect myself and my family. Cowards aren't on the streets so they don't have to cover their faces. Cowards are those that stay inactive and don't fight back when masked fascist come to hurt their neighbors.

These guys aren't cowards and they definitely believe their message of hate. Saying they are cowards is a way for you to pretend they aren't a threat. That you don't have to do anything when our government supports them. They are a threat. They hide their faces because there ARE people fighting back against them.

They aren't cowards BUT they are weak. Because there are a lot more of us then them. But we aren't all organized like they are. If you and I don't organize against them, and push them out of every public space when they do this, one day they won't worry about wearing a mask.

[–] shweddy@lemmy.world 1 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

They don't deserve the validation

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 1 points 15 hours ago

They are already validated by our government. Every single one of these guys is a member of ICE. I'm validating what they represent as a threat; not validating their beliefs as true.

Pretending that neonazis are cowards that will not fight or that they won't die for their beliefs in white supremacy is not helpful. It's pretending that they are not a threat.

[–] Cosmonauticus@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Nah they're cowards. Racists operate on fear of the other. Fear and cowardice are all they know. If they didn't fear ppl who didnt look like them they'd have to accept they're responsible for their own failures.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Hiding your face because you oppose the state and hiding your face even though you have the backing of the state are entirely different things.

[–] wheezy@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago

Yes. That's essentially what my comment said.

[–] fizzle@quokk.au 2 points 1 day ago

I understand what you're saying but this might not be the beat way to describe it.

I think their supremacist beliefs are held in the core of their being. They may on some level know they're not superior to anyone else, but they do believe that they deserve to be treated as superior.

They're cowards because they understand that their beliefs are not acceptable and there will be consequences in their lives that they're unwilling to encounter.

Convenient of them to wear hats with the an actual literal fasces, the original symbol for and namesake of fascism, just to remove any plausible deniability of their intent.

Racism parade: A-OK
touching paint: life in prison

[–] anon_8675309@lemmy.world 34 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

So, the police showed up in civilians.

[–] Lucius_Sweet@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses

[–] JohnnyCanuck@lemmy.ca 12 points 1 day ago

Some of those that burn crosses are the same that hold office.

[–] MisterCurtis@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

This looks familiar...

[–] radiofreebc@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

I hate Illinois Nazis

And encountered no one giving a fuck. They wanted interaction, and found no one to engage with 'em.

Best to ignore the idiots.

[–] OldGrayDog@fedinsfw.app 9 points 1 day ago

That's what the ICE boys do when they're not deporting innocent people.

[–] Sinthesis@lemmy.today 9 points 1 day ago

They need a modern day tar 'n feathering. Water balloons/super soakers of some sticky substance (rubber cement? elmers glue? latex paint?) followed by air cannons of tinsel?

[–] KC_Royalz@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

The best way to deal with them is yell a random name the person who looks say I thought that was you,. Your employer is going to hear about it

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I would prefer the purifying sweep of a machine gun.

[–] KC_Royalz@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Well that works

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago (4 children)

Why are they using public transit? Isn't that what communists use? Should be they be driving their private, gas-guzzling vehicles, complete with Truck Nutz?

[–] Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Because if they drove then you'd see their license plates

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

If we photograph their license plates, they can be figured out. That’s why. They are hiding.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Because they are giant pussies and don't want to be doxxed.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

How can they breath with those on? Must be big supporters of social distancing. /s

Fucking disgrace, how fitting for this shithole

[–] corbindallas@fedinsfw.app 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Remember Heather Heyer.

Patriot Front was birthed from the anal prolapses of Vanguard. I think she might have been the first Trump death in 2016.

Could be wrong.

Underpants on their faces -- butt heads

[–] Malyca@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago

I hope it was unbearably hot on their faces

[–] Areldyb@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

May they each suffer an ingrown toenail and a case of food poisoning

[–] fizzle@quokk.au 2 points 1 day ago

In 2015 I would've said this just isn't possible.

Truly the most abhorrent behavior.
