66 Billion dead

lol, what, are they counting the individual intestinal bacteria cells at this point?

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 28 points 6 days ago (1 children)

China has finally reverse-engineered Juche necromancy, and now limitless power is at Xi's fingertips.

[–] Speaker@hexbear.net 20 points 6 days ago

Based on the title I think they regular-engineered Juche reverse-necromancy and are just creating corpses out of nothing.

[–] Budwig_v_1337hoven@hexbear.net 9 points 6 days ago (1 children)

trees. they're talking about the 66bil trees of the great green wall

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 4 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Yea, for real. If you wanna see for yourself, they start talking about it around the one hour mark. I could stomach about five minutes of it. Their main argument seems to be that the tree monoculture uses up all the water and thus changes rainfall patterns and since that does mean a little less rain in some places, that's bad and unsustainable and the trees are basically already dead because of the hydrological debt incurred... I don't know all too much about hydrology and the situation in China specifically, but from a layperson's perspective they do seem to oversimplify most of it, really. Like, their monoculture point is kinda valid until you consider that there are probably a very limited amount of species that can even have a hope of establishing themselves in desert sand and it's not like they won't eventually form a habitat for a more diverse set of species. Idk, it's all very smug liberal coded with a thin veneer of ecological concern

Every sperm China failed to extract unlike the only moral country

[–] Flyberius@hexbear.net 26 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

The guy on the right very much has the look of a sex pest who failed to get any in China and is now pissed off about it. Also has the Hitler youth haircut

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 25 points 6 days ago (3 children)

They do such a good job of imitating this style of video that I almost mistook it for the real thing. Or is it actually as bad as it looks? I can't trust the "two white guys making a funny face while talking about China doing bad things" thumbnails even if it's just mocking that sort of thing.

[–] marxismtomorrow@lemmy.today 38 points 6 days ago (2 children)

They seem to be unironic.

Their entire "podcast" seems to be two white guys that have allegedly been to China making funny faces for thumbnails and repeating the most milquetoast propaganda while jerking each other off and occasionally having an Asian American on that has a vaguely Chinese sounding name jerk them off and tell them they're so right about everything.

[–] VILenin@hexbear.net 27 points 6 days ago (2 children)

So many Chinese-Americans think they can punch their ticket to whiteness by validating the satanic racism of crackers

Seems like a general trend with gusanos.

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 20 points 6 days ago

Ew, gross. I thought these things largely died out after USAID got cut, but I guess some of them were in it for the love the game, not the money.

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 28 points 6 days ago (2 children)

Its real. I got about 3 minutes in. They start by talking about how the Chinese are making fun of the Euros for not being able to cope with the heat and in turn they start talking about in China they use water mists from building to cool people down. They start talking about how the water is disgusting and has a bunch of pollutants in it because the air in China is polluted and at that point I had seen enough. Not going to scrub through 2 hours of slop just to see what the fuck they're talking about.

Bonus: I made the mistake of checking the comments and saw someone talking about how China's covid policy halved their population...

This is grade-A slop folks. You've been warned.

[–] agentant@hexbear.net 29 points 6 days ago (1 children)

They're claiming the COVID policy killed like 500 million people in the comments?

The PRC is truly the Genghis Khan of Communism. Khammunism if you will.

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 12 points 6 days ago

I guess since this sort of thing doesn't have the traction it used to I don't feel as bad, it's kind of funny how off-base they are when it isn't actively poisoning the minds of everyone in the west. Just sad and pathetic.

[–] agentant@hexbear.net 16 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I think it's real, pretty sure I recognize the guy on the left

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 14 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I mean like, is it just racism central, or is it people pretending that it is so that people click on the video and actually get educated on China instead?

[–] agentant@hexbear.net 9 points 6 days ago (1 children)

I don't really now/recall, I just remember seeing one of them as a Western propagandist

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 7 points 6 days ago

SSerpentza and laowhy88 (i forget their proper handles and it's probably a positive thing that reflects how their grift has dried up)

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 24 points 6 days ago (1 children)

"Making funny faces in the thumbnail" is the lowest form of youtube slop I swear

[–] Robert_Kennedy_Jr@hexbear.net 1 points 5 days ago

Ten years ago these two youtubers were making content about riding motorcycles in China, apolitical as far as I remember. Then they got married to Chinese people and went to amerikkka, their content became 100% sinophobic after that.

The weirdo on the left is south African but identifies himself as br*tish and was always wearing a suit to "look important" (his words). The other fucker is a yanki.

[–] CloutAtlas@hexbear.net 3 points 5 days ago

Ok, so a friend and drinking buddy of mine in Wuhan used to work with one of them. He got into a bad business deal with a Chinese national, who basically scammed him out of the money. The police didn't do anything because he technically shouldn't have been conducting business on a teaching visa (or something along those lines). Deeply bitter about it he started criticizing the government and China as a whole, which got him in trouble, a slap on the wrist (no jail or fine, just cautioned), then he left China and started hating on China professionally. He's been seething ever since.

Kinda wild I'm 2 steps removed from that dude.

[–] Krem@hexbear.net 3 points 5 days ago

can we put a moratorium on bland white dudes marrying chinese people until we figure out why it tends to result in this kind of thing

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 16 points 6 days ago (3 children)

How do people see this shit and not go "This sounds ridiculous"?! The Western mind is just to nazified to be reasoned with.

[–] EmmiLime@lemmy.ml 6 points 6 days ago

If westerners can believe the most outlandish and fantasy-based stories about DPRK then sadly this is just par for the course.

[–] moss_icon@hexbear.net 13 points 6 days ago (1 children)

CCP officials went to the afterlife just to kill everyone there.

[–] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 1 points 5 days ago

kill em all

☠️

let the Central Committee sort em out

[–] chgxvjh@hexbear.net 11 points 6 days ago (1 children)

It's silly that you can just make impossible numbers up like that and still be taken seriously

[–] Diurnambu1e@hexbear.net 4 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

In France some public TV documentaries can get helps or/and full reimbursement if they do a piece against the red. They did one on the north Korea princess which was really funny, you cut the music normal documentary you add the music every thing was dramatic with recent picture from back alley put in black and white... I seen worst back ally in Europe... Once you start to see the cracks in the story you can't unsee. I still believe I don't know any real history, and I have no idea if my view on US or China are reals (I think it is heavily propagandized, but I am not aware of which part) . what I wan to say is their I'd and still is a huge propaganda systel build to dunk on the east world.

[–] RondoRevolution@hexbear.net 7 points 5 days ago

I guess comrade Kim helped them with some Juche necromancy to achieve such numbers
