[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 1 points 24 minutes ago

As they should.

Ngl, I've been rooting for Iran this whole time. I want America to get its ass kicked, it's not my country anymore, it's my jailer.

He happily pays the 300b surender money and the even higher costs for refilliing American armories from taxpayers money, knowing well that the Epstein class does not participate in this taxpaying game, anyway.

The bit everyone else seems to be missing. Just like with Iraq and Afghanistan, this war is happening on the backs of working class Americans.

Nobody in TrumpWorld is paying a penny. Quite a few of them are cleaning up on Pentagon contracts.

So then Isreal bombs Lebanon.

This is the song that never ends...

[–] bold_atlas@lemmy.world 7 points 11 hours ago

Get back to me when the surrender document includes a US declaration of war against Israel.

Isn't this about the MOU from a month ago?

Fucking hate tweets with the date cropped out. They're always trying to peddle BS by doing that

What matters to him is thatbhe personally got richer with all the market manipulation. That's it.

[–] OldChicoAle@lemmy.world 4 points 12 hours ago (2 children)

Good thing he has all these quality years of life left to enjoy that money

[–] thlibos@thelemmy.club 4 points 6 hours ago

His fuck-trash and grand-fuck-trash will reap the rewards. We need to find away to take it all away from them and put them all away for decades. If not prison, then reeducation work camps. We will never get past this unless, ultimately, nobody ends up profitting from either of Trump's farcical administrations.

That's why if you noticed he has (somewhat) switched to slapping his name all over stuff. First term it was all advertising and business deals. But now he's trying to tie himself to the 250th anniversary, put his name all over every bill and building. It's his son's that are running all the insider trading deals and background economic tricks.

He's dying and he knows it so he's trying to smear his stupid name all over before he goes.

kushner specifically is spearheading the ME fiasco from behind the scenes.

[–] Hello_there@fedia.io 43 points 19 hours ago (18 children)

Imo, paying for reconstruction is the moral thing to do when there is no rational basis for a war. I have no idea whether $300b is the right amount.

[–] Professorozone@lemmy.world 23 points 14 hours ago (3 children)

The highest estimated cost by the OBM for universal healthcare in the US is $290B.

Just gonna leave that here.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 7 hours ago

and it can be taken out of the overbloated defense budget too, and they still have more than enough for thier big guns and toys.

So the agreement could be simpler.... It basically says the US (and allies) stop breaking internationallaw, and pay Iran a fuckload of money to rebuild all the stuff they blew up while breaking international law. Iran must agree to continue to abide by the lawful agreements that were in place before the pointless and illegal US military assault.

So we agree to:

  1. give them $1000 for every man woman and child in the US

  2. pull our military out of the Middle East

  3. let them sponsor terrorism across the region

And in return, they agree to start negotiations

————————

Are you tired of all this winning yet?

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 7 points 11 hours ago

let them sponsor terrorism

???

Who were the terrorists in this exchange again?

[–] systemglitch@lemmy.world 11 points 13 hours ago

America is a terrorist state. Screaming freedom all the time doesn't change the truth.

[–] greyscale@lemmy.grey.ooo 29 points 18 hours ago (3 children)

watches the united states carpetbomb a country for no fuckin' reason

"let them sponsor terrorism"

sponsor terrorism across the region

That seems highly subjective; and given whom America supports, Iran my not seem like the worst sponsor in the region.

[–] skozzii@lemmy.ca 35 points 21 hours ago (9 children)

Isreal is the modern terrorist organization, and they are hurting the whole world.

That being said Hamas sucks too.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Yet Israel also funds Hamas.

[–] j_overgrens@feddit.nl 2 points 8 hours ago

See? It sucks
