Is bear okay?! :<
Dukie does “come” a hell of a lot better than my dog. Mine would be off into the sunset trying to play with that bear until the end of her days
The black bear was probably as surprised and why it kept running.
Especially when he yelled. That thing went the opposite direction. He didn't like that cyclist or the dog anymore than they liked him.
Dog: I got this! I got this! Person: you ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GOT THIS, OH MY GOD
if not friend, why friend shaped?
Where are the brakes?
Might be a fixie, i.e. the brakes are just pedaling backwards
Holy shit bro!!!
This is why I get so upset about people who keep their pets off-leash in public. "BuT it'S DanGeroUs tO ride a biKe With A doG on Its LeAD." Yeah, but what about when your off-leash dog encounters someone's off-leash bear and it outpaces you on a mountain bike. Now you're gonna go home and question if you're a shitty bicyclist, and those are the scars that'll never heal.
someone’s off-leash bear lmao
You train recall? It's like the first thing you want to train, and arguably the only mandatory thing you need to teach a dog. Notice how the collie in the video came back as soon as it was called?
I seriously thought that my part about an "off-leash bear" would be indicator enough that my comment was sarcasm, but obviously not. I think I buried it too deep in too long of a joke.
I did think the off-leash bear part was pretty funny. But there are many (specifically Americans) who think it's crazy to let a dog off the lead under any circumstance.
Is this sarcasm? That's a black bear, generally safe, you can tell it's not protecting it's babies because it ran away from the dog. Also I live in a very rural area and I've only ever seen a black bear once on trails. Meanwhile I've almost run over a dog not on a leash several times, I can't imagine how difficult riding with a leashed dog would be.
Yeah, it's sarcasm. Hence the "off-leash bear" and that a bear outpacing you would cause emotional damage. But it seems I did a pretty shitty job of making a joke.
Ah good, I'm also not that good at picking up sarcasm on the Internet...
That scream has Wilhelm potential
I like to think of ever in that situation, I would belt out a death metal level roar to try and scare the bear. In reality, I feel like I would sound like this guy.
Out for a run one early morning, still dark, and I hear something running up behind me. No time to think I turned around, made myself big, arms spread out and high, and yelled as deep and as loud as I could. That poor Yorkie turned around and yipped all the way back to its house where I could see the owner on the porch shaking her head at me.
So, you might surprise yourself. I certainly did.
I got attacked by herding dogs while hiking. I have a phobia of dogs but also had pepper spray and a taser on me. I surprised myself by not shitting my pants and instead making noise with the very loud taser until their lazy-ass owner came to bring them back to the herd they abandoned to fuck with me
That dog saw it way before he did. Good boy.
dog was about to herd that weird shaped sheep
he actually did by sending him to the second weird looking sheep on wheels
Saw those ears like ooooo new thing to herd
Lucky it was a black bear.
No shit. And for half a second I thought the dog was a cub.
I mean... If he was angry or hungry it wouldn't be lucky at all.
They can outrun his bike easily, and you can't play dead with them.
It was probably lucky that this was an area where people interact with bears often. They aren't too dangerous usually in areas like that because they know to fear people.
In the last 126 years there was only 61 possible legitimate cases of an american black bear killing a human, and even some of those cases have been called into question. American black bears are some of the most passive animals, they hate confrontation and will basically always flee. Even if hungry and even if their babies are in danger. The scariest thing they will do is bluff charge while vocalizing and the run off.
This is the correct info.

What’s their record with dogs?
I seriously doubt anyone keeps records of dog deaths like they do humans. But bear hunters use dogs to hunt them because they scare and corner them, by running them up a tree. American black bears are afraid of everything.
I one time made a noise like that guy made when he saw the bear. In my case, a car sped through a crosswalk while I was walking through it. (The car did not end up hitting and killing me.)
You scared the car with your roar.
The car did not end up hitting and killing me
Liar
The car did not end up hitting and killing me
Are you sure?
This being hell would explain a lot.
Imagine you were being punished because you were living in my hell.
So here we are
Oh my god! Everything about this video is pure chaos at it's finest.
I swear I thought I was watching CJ catch the train...
That mission can go to hell!
It gets easier when you do more of the shooting yourself and don't rely on Smoke so much. Turns out all you had to do was catch the train AND shoot people on a moving train.
Also, there are some missions in that game that are sensitive to your framerate I believe. I know Stowaway was one, but I'm not sure if it also affects this one (due to the whole thing where being on top of a moving vehicle in San Andreas can make an NPC's hitbox move... less than smoothly).
Good dog!
