On that note, awkward helicopter is an awesome band name.
Fun fact: the buggies were regular camo, but the radiation gave them paint mutations.
The pattern continued as the mutated buggies were more attractive and sexual selection continued their line.
My understanding from this side of the pond is that the Department of Energy does not fuck about when it comes to providing policing and defensive security to whatever sites and infrastructure that comes under their jurisdiction - they put a fair bit of time and money into being pretty fucking decent with firearm handling and ~~marksmanship~~ ~~markspersonship~~ decent shooting.
That said, this photo is 46+ years old so who knows now?
Why would SF at a civilian base (even one working on nuclear tech) need camo on their rigs? It’s not like you’re ambushing people on guard duty.
