I'm trans and I like programming. I'm interested in discussing topics like homebrew games and web1 sites. is there a community for that?

The admin after banning all the trans folks and furries from their programming community

Yeah I don't care about the color of your skin, I don't care if you're male, female, all of the above, something in between or none of the above, I don't care who you like or don't like, I don't care what you believe or don't believe in.

All I care about is:

YOUR CODE IS SHIT AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY

Just kidding, we love you and want nothing but to help you

From my experience it seems like programming communities in general are pretty chill and accepting. It might be related to the large portion of programmers that are neurodiverse and LGBTQ+.

Tbh it’s a bit of a shit show because many communities are like “we don’t care about XXXX, everyone is welcome”, but then when the transphobes show up it’s like “🤷‍♀️ “.

yeah, exactly my point. i want a space which is actively pro-queer and not "neutral."

maybe using a programming community on a server which has rules about that? Since they have to follow server rules you wouldn't need a separated community

You're welcome to make one!
