Y'all, this administration has proposed some stupid things, but this is breathtakingly stupid. Mullin wants to stop international flights and CBP staffing into Sanctuary Cities as a punishment to them. Except....that means no international flights to Newark, Chicago, LAX, JFK, Seattle, and more.

It’s not stupid, it’s textbook. One of the first things fascist regimes do is lock down travel. Can’t have people coming and going as they please!

why give then any benefit of doubt? they know exactly what they're doing...republicans are disaster capitlists first and formost, quickest way to make a $ and trading on early/inside information around a disaster and when nature won't give you one you can just make your own.

I believe they do think this through. I think your mistake is thinking they want to help the country.

They want to help themselves. They think they'll be just fine no matter the damage, because they have all the power and control so they can pilfer all the resources until they're "secure."

And they're right.

No one is stopping them.

I regularly use the term not my circus not my moneys.

But your circus is damn dramatic to the point of wow are they really crazy enough to do that. I am secretly hoping this happens now. I’m not sure if that’s my addiction or the abandonment of recklessness.

I am so sorry to all the normal people trying to function. But from the outside it gets ever so ridiculous day after day.
