Dreams are great. We should have a permanent dream megathread on here.

Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.
As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.
Thank you and happy chatting!
Happy I didn't dream about my ex or being back in school or some combo of the two. These make up the bulk of my dreams.
The bulk of my dreams used to be me lost on random streets, or being driven down a motorway scarily fast, or in swimming pool changing rooms where all the toilets are clogged up and overflowing, but I barely dream at all now as my sleep is so awful.
If it makes you feel better, when I'm off my meds I barely sleep too.
it sucks. I'm so tired all the time and miss dreaming.
I got a lot to share, unfortunately I'm the type to forget my dreams despite wanting to share it
There's an online diary called penzu, I used to use that to record my dreams. I'd keep a pen and paper by my bed, scribble them down immediately and then type them up. I still enjoy going back and reading them. I also used to have a paper book of my dreams but lost it unfortunately.
i cried for the first time in i don't know how many years because in a dream i had the other morning i was like 6 years old and we had to move quickly and throw everything we could on this passing train. it was very exciting. we all got onboard including the giant soft white old dog we had. then came the time we had to leave the train but the old dog couldn't get off and i was forced to leave him on the train.
i woke up with tears streaming down my face. i hasn't cried like that in ages
Oh, that's awful. Maybe a past life memory?
maybe it was a portend... our 16 year old dog just suddenly went back arched like a cat and he can't walk and his legs are shaking.. he doesn't seem to be in pain so we're giving him everything he never could eat before.. tomorrow we will take him to the vet to be put down :'( now im actually crying again for the second time in years
So sorry to hear that.
since I dumped on you, I figure I should at least let you know that he's actually doing okay now.. the vet gave him some pain meds and said it could be a slipped disc or maybe he just tweaked a muscle, but it doesn't look like anything horribly serious and now he seems to be fine again so YAY!
Good news!
