I have to image so, at its vary core removing choice and agency from people is unethical. They twist themselves into loops trying to justify why imposing their personal lifestyle on others through an inflicted allergy is justified...

Unless all the researchers have already been bitten by ticks that gave them alpha-gal syndrome this research is basically toilet paper to me. I've had family members with alpha-gal syndrome and that shit is a miserable experience even if you don't eat red meat or trigger foods.

Why not just super spread COVID all over the planet because it reduces CO2 emissions when everyone is sick en masse? Long term damage to the body and all the acute suffering would be a small price to pay to stave off climate collapse /s

Also alpha-gal syndrome wears off/reverses in many people after so many years. One family member can eat red meat and dairy again after a decade. This would be senseless suffering, the effects wouldnt even last long enough to fully stop meat eating and that's not even considering the anger it would engender our cause

Again alpha-gal syndrome doesn't just give you a meat allergy, it will fuck your body up in other ways same type of way COVID left people's bodies and immune systems shredded up after even a mild case
