When someone says that Israel does have a right to exist, your follow-up question needs to be “What international body grants them that right? Did Yugoslavia not have a right to exist or Czechoslovakia.”

I was listening to this live and from memory he was so stunned by her position that he didn't know how to respond and said let's move on.

And honestly I can't really blame him cause her position is like a meme we would make of enlightened centrists. He even warns her right beforehand that people are going to consider it a litmus test.

I think your wrong about this. The key difference is Raman actually needs Hasan's endorsement which is why he's giving it. He's chasing an illusion of power here. There's no illusion that he'll have any power over Newsome.
