I literally can't imagine what will happen to American conservativism when trump is out of office and/or dead. The entire movement, if you wanna call it thst, is just whatever Trump says that day. Even the most Maga idiot can't even pretend to give a shit about Vance, Rubio, Hegseth, or whatever other pedophiles circle around Trump.
There's nothing left for conservatives to conserve. Their racists are multi-ethnic. Their sex offenders are Christian and their Christians idolise a golden statue. The only honest part left is the hatred for brown people, women, and the poor. As for foreign policy, their facade has basically fallen, it's just the remaining machine trying to expand imperial influence and trying to reduce taxes for the wealthy. There's no need to pretend to be against vices and moral failure, they're sponsored by gambling apps. There's no need to be against pre-emptive strikes, children are legitimate targets.
It's just going to be more fascism, more or less. They could freefall towards it with a republican or deploy one eighth of a parachute with a democrat. Neither will change the outcome, because neither will abandon capitalism, and fascism is capitalism in decay.
