Post guidelines

Title formatPost title should mirror the news source title. If you don't like the title of article, look for an alternative source instead of editorializing it.
URL formatPost URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefixOpinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title. Opinion articles refer to articles that their publisher doesn't explictly endorse.
Country prefixCountry prefix can be added to the title with a separator (|, :, etc.) if the news is from a local publisher who doesn't clearly mention the country.

Hmm I wonder why they skip the US market for these? I’d buy one

Because 27 degrees in the US would freeze you.

...

🤣

Somebody please explain this image to me.

An image from the article, allegedly demonstrating the cooling effects of the device by showing thermal imagery of a person wearing it vs not wearing it.

The colour of the device seems to suggest the lower end of the scale (27 degrees) but the label say 19/21 degrees which isn't even on the scale? Also, according to the scale the difference between the body surface temperatures doesn't seem very significant, does it? Why is there no body temperature indicated without the device? It looks suspiciously like I'm meant to mostly ignore the scale and just marvel at the difference between 35 degrees and 19/21 degrees.

also the head is hotter while wearing the device?

The comments said something about an exhaust on top of the device that blows heat towards the head? That seems so absurd that I chose to ignore it.

thank you, I didn't read the comments to be honest.

sounds not only absurd but also counterproductive based on the images.
