Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

This colour comes from the bark’s natural structure and chemistry, including compounds such as tannins that help protect the tree from pests, fungi, and environmental stress. The bark also peels in thin layers as it grows, which can make it harder for mosses, lichens, and other organisms to firmly establish on the surface.

Yeah, it's mostly dirt & cherry blossoms.

(The low effort ultra-specific botanic meme took me like 30 seconds to make on mobile.)

Oh so that's why birch bark is the way it is.

For me, nature is one of the neatest things on this planet. That's why Rodney and I started Neature Walk. Cause we want everyone to know how neat nature is; instead of just me and Rodney knowin' it.

You have left out some important information:

Does the shiny bark make it hard to climb? Or do the barky ring bits make it easy to climb?

Asking for a monkey friend.
