Once I attended a wedding where the hosts had requested guests show up in costume. Most people showed up in costumes that clearly were just minimal effort - a mask, a cape, whatever. Some people showed up in really intense costumes. I don't remember what my then-girlfriend and I wore but it was somewhere in the middle of the two.
When we got there, we encountered a mutual friend of the groom and me. He was in, simply, a suit, something one would wear to a more traditional wedding. We jokingly said "where's your costume?"
He responded "I don't wear costumes because I'm an adult."

I'm using my deductive skills to assume that "tbt" stands for "throw back to" but it says "tbt to", so I'm at a loss.
Not gonna look it up. You can keep your acronyms. They are silly.
usually throwback tuesday or throwback thursday but we're sharing on this beautiful ruleday
Throwback Today
Well it is Tuesday
Nuh-uh. I am completely ignorant of the fact that people exist in other timezones so therefore today is monday and anyone that says otherwise is a communist.
Eurule
Indeed. You posted this Tuesday 01:00 CET
I am gonna say it's "Turn Back Time", sounds nice. And I am always right so don't bother correcting me.
It stands for "throat barf tomatoes," and it's about memories that give you heartburn
I remember right now.
Sort of.
One goth sat among normies will never not be funny.

Is the Eric of Comment Etiquette fame?
Gotta embody the outfit on that point. Follow people to the bathroom and knock loudly then run away.
Slash looks rough these days
Fuck 'em. You read the book, you get a babadook.
