Outrageous! I was expecting them to be flown to a cruel feed lot in some central american country.
In Australia we just deport the unwanted Bisons to Nauru.
The bison are more American than him and his family. Of course he'd try to evict them.
Because they need the lands for fracking, or more cows.

As much as I loved me some burgers, sirloin tips and churrasco, the cost just isn't worth it.
Just going meat free once a week can be great for your health, wallet and the environment!
And let's not forget, its also great for the source of the meat.
But the cow in the commercial says it wants to be eaten.
Honestly, my understanding is that Ted Turner basically saved the bison from extinction by deciding to maintain a herd, just so he can serve them up at his restaurant.
The motivations are what they are, but the outcome is definitely positive.
Some of the most common large animals in the world are only so because they're livestock. Otherwise, they might've been extinct by now (compare cows and aurochs, for example). Between that and funding wildlife conservation through hunting and fishing license revenue, having, let's say, "fraught" motivations like that is not unusual at all.

If not, what a dejecting step in conservation by a state that pretends to be a pristine place for wildlife tourism
