I do read it very differently. It's a funny picture joke based on something that it is totally not happening.

Look, you are entitled to your opinion here and neither of us actually knows what the original creator of this had as their intention, but you are coming at people with a ton of anger and vitriol and I'm trying to explain why you are getting a lot of people being like "What are you talking about?"

I do not see this as a personal attack on the lion whisperer here at all, just a silly joke made from a pretty incredible picture.

It's a joke based on play pretend. Let's play pretend the lion can take selfies. Lets play pretend the lion is also an asshole, which is a bit unexpected, making it somewhat funny, and let's pretend the lion is planning to eat his friend but first posts like an Instagram influencer, also unexpected in this play pretend universe, so that's the joke. Nobody is scorning no man here
