Exactly. Same reason the UAE pulled out of OPEC.

The resource and ideological wars are already under way and countries with the means to do so are taking their positions to take the best advantage they can.

Hopefully this is because they now realise sportswashing doesn’t really work. I’m sure it still does to some extent but everytime they do something like this there’s a lot of articles about the human rights violations and killings. Can’t be good long term

They tweeted about golf. I tweeted back that they "gulf up deez nutz" so I think they realize that golf will make them gay and had to pull out prematurely.
