Impeccable vibes

Is there a word that combines kickass, rockin’, and seamlessly punkishly elegant?

Cuz your look is exactly that. /gen /pos 💜

You look like a witch/wizard flaunting the effects of their gendercide potion. "Begone, binary fashion! I can wear all the goth clothing I want! MUHAHAHAHA"

Ty!

Bit of personal loreI didn't do em myself, whenever I tried that, it didn't look nearly as good and didn't last more than a day. It's more than a month now for sure and I had to do house repairs and some decent amount of manual labor - and they are still mostly intact.

One of a few benefits of being Ukrainian, I guess, is the ability to find people with cool skills among refugees. She did nails professionally before, and do a bit of a side-work now - which means all the people I live with now have superb nails, made at home 🥰 For a decent payment ofc.

Shit, I didn’t even notice the color scheme! I thought they were all purple, lol.

And she does great work

[–] Mika@piefed.ca 2 points 2 weeks ago

Hehe, purple is at the edge of the wavelengths human eye can see, so it might as well be black, who knows ✨

I like how Yukari in Touhou lore is associated with this color. The ability to manipulate borders. The borderline visible color.

Don't overthink it. Check the sidebar and vibes.

  • Does it bring euphoria?
    • You look happy and this will make people smile.
  • Is it trans-related?
    • You weren't assigned agender at birth, were you?
  • Is it bigoted?
    • No.

I don't think there's any more conditions here.

I tend to overthink such things cause it feels like a fun pile of contradictions I'm running on. I don't mind my AGAB unless people feel the need to drop me into constraints of it. And generally, it's the gender stereotypes itself that I have problems with - I think the world would be a simpler and better place without them.

But then, if I mentally denounce the existence of gender in my head, trans from where to where, hehe, it's about genders, right? ^^'

contradictions

People with what I call "legacy" understanding of gender (bigoted, or simply not caring/uninformed) could find this contradictory but I don't see any discrepancy between your physical presentation and description: you look way too androgynous to be binary. I wouldn't use the word "husk" myself but I won't stop you: self-deprecation can be part of your goth identity, catharsis or proud oblivion to judgement. The AGAB comment was a rhetorical question, just pointing out that you can also claim a trans identity without contradicting your current one. Not that it matters, I don't think this community would mind "exteenally affirming" posts from cis people (like me, probably) if they're genuine and not obtrusive (e.g. patronizing).

Woah, this hair is  p e r f e c t

[–] Mika@piefed.ca 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Ty. I've been dying my hair with wild mixes of colours before (black/red, black/green, black/purple, yellow/orange/red, yellow/purple, and I've probably forgot some), but this is the first time I decided to give a monocolour of my fav colour a try. Cause simple isn't always worse :3

[–] ChaoticNeutralCzech@feddit.org 2 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

I don't see this as a single color, there's definitely some darker, brownish strands and I think they mix well with the purple, which alone might have been a little too bluish to match the vest. Intentional or not, it looks good on you and so does the haircut. You picked just the right amount to leave hanging on the sides to emphasize the subtle waves.

i absolutely love your style and maybe want to steal a little of it (i am most envious of your hair and scarf and gloves). excellent coordination!

[–] Mika@piefed.ca 3 points 2 weeks ago

Have purple scarf too though :3

A last piece that is still intact that I have from when I cosplayed Warcraft 3 undead acolyte, like a decade ago. Still looking good through.

[–] Mika@piefed.ca 2 points 2 weeks ago

It's actually not a scarf, its a loose sweater

It is like a regular sweater at the back but two thin lines at the front side, very useful item as it's an easy mix with other clothes.

Ill cook for you if you protect my delicate ass from fascist pricks. Cause you certainly look like you can handle yourself ❤️

[–] irotsoma@piefed.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 weeks ago

You look great!!!

I'm also agender, but striving to present more feminine, as an AMAB person, using HRT, vaginoplasty, and style mostly because society is more welcoming when you present as one or the other, but also because of genital dysphoria, so I'd rather have these than the birth ones.
