Prediction market scams are much more fun to watch than crypto scams

Back in my 20s I thought about getting in on grifting and just exploiting people for money, it seemed so damn easy, and you do it in ways that aren't even breaking the law or anything. I decided against it, decided to be honest. Little did I know that the entire economy would be 75% grifting within the decade.

Opening up the window and blasting the AC. I think I can get us back below 1° by the end of the decade?!?

we just need him to point the hair dryer at one of the earth's AC sensors

What would you trust more? A measurement made by hand, or some data that spent time feeding a clanker?

All I'm saying is that if you trick the AC into thinking it's hotter, it'll cool things down more

Does anyone else think there might be a disadvantage to all of reality and life being gambling?

Or what do they call it? "Financialized"?

Don't you have to plug in hairdryers?

[–] RedWizard@hexbear.net 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

You can probably get battery operated ones now. Or there could be external power right there somewhere.

Yeah, kinda looks like the photo has a bit of one, which is making me suspect it's slop. The circumstances of the photo releasing from the security cam feels a bit weird as well.
