It'd be a shame if someone figured out how to hack what will undoubtedly be an absolutely abysmally designed product. To create seizures or something.

It's just a bluetooth camera so no seizures.

But these guys stand out like a beacon if you know what you're looking for. For example, watching bluetooth traffic and reading the MAC address of the devices, you can determine the manufacturer.

Most regular people do not carry Axon devices so if you see any of their prefixes then you know they're around. You could create a smartphone app to do this and it could alert you if there are any Axon devices near you.

If everyone was running such an app on their phone it would function kind of like Apple's AirTag tracking network, every phone could provide geolocation tagged notifications when they detected such a device and others could use that app to ensure that they're not in those areas.

Black Mirror X Do Not Create The Torment Nexus

Thanks Yanks, I'm sure this won't become the new normal worldwide. Mainlining Palantir via AR while Tolkien spins in his grave.

Poor JRR did not realize we would eventually have them for real.

And poor George did not realize we'd take 1984 as a blueprint rather than a warning.

Maybe it's for the best, that they both died before they had to see.

This tacticruel dork is kitted up like he's deploying somewhere just to beat up on some abuela.

They're selling snuff films and gassing each other up with the apparent impunity. Salting the troops maybe? I forget what it's called.
