This is peak DNC thought "what if the problem just.... went away on its own"
Slop.

Stating the obvious here, but there haven't been calls for him to resign because people (correctly) understand that he would never.
I tried to read the Substack post but it seemed it wasn't going to be funny at all. Instead it seems to be 1,000s of words spinning in a gyre of pointlessness.
When you say “Trump would resign,” the immediate reaction is likely to be, “yeah, but he won’t, so what’s the point?”
It’s true that Trump is very unlikely to willingly step down. But calls for resignation can be powerful in themselves if repeated consistently and forcefully...
Also - "very unlikely"? I actually feel more pity than anger at the writer. Libs will do anything other than ~~going to therapy~~ even considering radical action.
Couldn't libs have this same energy for the global South rather than bilateral support for wars and military interventions?
Endless demonic violence for the global South, impotent harshly worded letters for home
Literally have gone from asking the president “pwetty pwease stop?” To “pwetty pwease stop?….no pressure.”
Noah Berlatsky
pedophile
nobody knows who this mf is you gotta give a grain of context if you're throwing that out
The only thing I could find that wasn't some right wing blog accusing him of being a groomer, which I ignored because the "groomer" term from the right seems always disingenuous:
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11545205/
Walker’s interview was conducted by Prostasia’s then-Director of Communications, Noah Berlatsky, who has drawn criticism for describing child trafficking as a “moral panic,” referring to sexually exploited children as “young people trading sex” and insisting that police, not child sex offenders, are the main threats faced by sexually exploited children (Emmons, 2021; Wright, 2018). Despite its origins and association with pro-pedophile activism, “minor attracted persons” is a term that continues to surface in scholarly and policy discourse, resulting in media and public backlash (Dearden, 2023). It is therefore timely to consider how this terminology is being deployed in scholarly work.
Seems to have been a director of this org at some point? https://prostasia.org/
I don't really know, can't find a smoking gun but those are some extremely hot takes if accurate.
Anyone who uses the term "minor attracted person" needs to have their hard drives checked
Yeah idk. This dude is despised by the right and the allegations all feel like they're wrapped around the usual "groomer" stuff. I suspect he's ok but I'm not running on enough sleep to really dig into it.
I googles Noah Berlatsky Biden Genocide and got NOTHING so I think maybe this guy doesn't actually give a shit about any of the evil things Trump is doing.
He does say genocide a few times here in reference to Gaza: https://www.everythingishorrible.net/p/israel-and-the-sad-colonizer
It's all Israel though, never Biden, never the US.
Looks like he has posted about Biden, but only 2 months ago and not when Biden was actually in power as far as i can find: https://bsky.app/profile/nberlat.bsky.social/post/3mdhlpxcjes2j
