As a Star Trek fan, one could only hope that they get so tired from culture warring on the news front that they leave the entertainment part relatively unencumbered. If only that wasn't so cynical a take.

After the headline, but before the article I thought - Define "center" or Ellison's, The Guardian's and the public polls and opinions are worthless.

My second thought was here is another public figure trying to influence a public conversation whose only qualification is being so rich as to be completely out of touch with reality.
