This stupid annoying orange is absolutely delusional.
Imagine showing this to anyone at all in the US in 1980 or 1990, or 2000, or 2010, and tell them this is an official statement from America's president. And then tell them in 2026 it barely even makes headlines.
The NYT didn't even quote the statement initially, but paraphrased it to make it seem saner. They only added the quote to the article after pushback
Tbh it’s more likely that they were avoiding the expletives in general than trying to sane wash.
