Or any other alternatives?

I've used many apps like this outertune, innertune, etc. And it seems like the success rate is about 20% for all of them.

Does anyone else have problems like this while using them??

I tried Brave since it has ad blocker built in but it runs like shit on YouTube music site (I think very likely on purpose) constantly won't respond to touches have to open two tabs of the same song to get it to work and have to reload constantly.

The devs of graphene say not to sue Firefox but shit man if I only use it for just YouTube music is it still a privacy risk to have on the phone?

Just seeming to be running out of options that are actually working.

Outertune, Harmony, etc. kept dying on me too, so I pulled the nuclear option and set up a Jellyfin server for my music. yt-dlp can download whole playlists, so I had it pull the 250-ish songs I regularly listen to from youtube. I use FinAmp as the music app on my phone now, it's set to automatically download the songs I add to my Jellyfin.

Only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to find out about new music, but at least I'm now always guaranteed to have something that works.

Just patch the Youtube Music app with Revanced Manager, or use NewPipe's background play feature.

Problem with newpipe is you can't login so every other video is age restricted and you can't view or listen to it.

I am thinking about revanced anyway but graphene's devs also go on and on about how that is a security hole as well.
