As soon as the militant right wing fucks up, it's no more politics in public allowed.
The sad thing is that everyone agrees, until the right forgets they're the bad guys and then it's RIGHT back to red caps and thin blue lines EVERYWHERE.
This meme is about politics.
It's about people posting things that are just politics in this community, despite rule 2. It's not about being "unpoltical" / "impartial" (which is a political position). At least that's how I've understood it.
"My politics fucked up a lot of people's lives, plz don't bring them up with me or I'll be uncomfortable and feel unwelcome"

Theres no safe space to go to where people don't keep forcing in politics....and then get angry if you say you don't want politics.
Because:
A) Everything is politics and relates to politics.
B) What people see as 'not politics' is actually just 'politics I agree with'.
Then do not post anything here because rule 2.
Follow the rule.
I mostly agree. There are times where, even for a moment, I’d like to not hear about the latest atrocity or see a politician.
Stop the atrocities from happening and then we won't have to keep talking about them.
Oh, sure, I'll have that done by tomorrow.
Bellend. There's only so much one person can do.
I completely disagree with B. What I usually see people (including myself) are annoyed about is stuff like images of posts of people saying (mostly US-) political stuff that most people on lemmy agree with (e.g. "trump is stupid").
For A, you could just think about whether your post might be more suitable in another community. Does it merely include politics indirectly, or is some political message the whole point of your post.
